Blue Ridge Community College Small Business Center (SBC) - SBC offers free business mentoring, referrals, trainings and planning assistance for prospective and existing small business owners in Transylvania County. Blue Ridge Innovation Network (BRIN)– Small Business Incubator
BRIN provides start-up entrepreneur’s or existing business owners the opportunity to be matched up with seasoned business expertise in a variety of business needs including: business idea generation, business plan development, financing, sales, marketing, advertising, PR, accounting, legal, HR, customer service, etc. BRIN clients may take advantage of affordable flexible business space, affordable Internet access, conference space and access to copier and fax services. SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) - SCORE is a small business management counseling service provided by experienced business executives who volunteer their time and expertise to local small businesses and those interested in starting a business.
